THE COMIC AS A TOOL FOR COMMUNICATION


In November 2009, a Comic recounting the history of the town of Bellegarde-sur- Valserine in Ain was published and printed in 2000 copies.
Philippe CHANOINAT in collaboration with historians the city has provided the script for my part I designed the boards, and MEL assured the coloring of the original comics quality. The challenge was great, appealing to a past forgotten and sometimes lost forever at the mercy of wars, disasters ... but it was noted brilliantly because three weeks after its release, 800 albums had been sold by the town of Bellegarde .
Also, the advantage of this type of communication, it is also timeless , educational and cultural and also rapidly depreciable for a community or society.
Indeed, this same concept can be adopted for the promotion of city, department, region , but also in a private company, a sports club ( Football, Rugby ...), brief Comics is a way of publicity and promotions ideal and has the further merit of allowing a return on investment.
I had already realized in 1998, a cartoon on beer: BEER, 8000 YEARS OF HSITOIRE to mark DUYCK ( JENLAIN ) of which 20,000 copies were sold in kiosks and bookstores.
