The endless struggle for a "Breastfeeding Equitable
I'll tell you something: I'm tired of hearing about breastfeeding. Lasse claims of women who never end, tired of the collective indignation vis-à-vis another dealer close spirit that stupidly refused a mother nursing her child (in addition to the ridicule without embarrassment in front of customers present) in the holy place of his shop, tired of the recovery of the journalistic thing.
I am tired of hearing the same speech on the same fight the right of mothers to breastfeed in public since I realized the importance of the gesture, ie there is sixteen and a half. I'm tired of mothers (which I took part in one of these scandals dairy eleven years ago) that mount the barricades in front of the media to say, be heard, defend and claim that breastfeeding is a maternal gesture and non-sexual and that should be publicly and universally regarded as such.
I'm tired of thinking that the message was received, understood and accepted but that is all over again each time.
I am tired but redundancy of the message is nevertheless essential the .
This is essential to change attitudes that see a lack of chastity outside their mind and stuck there or ironically tolerant mediacom huge breasts giant display for sale of lingerie, jewelry, cars, beer , alcohol, jeans, travel or chicken skewers marinated.
Want to sell? The breast is popular. No need to seek a link with the product launch. The breast is socially accepted to sell just about anything. The breast is a multi-task, the breast has a broad back, the breast is versatile, breast offers what everyone wants to see.
The breast can sell anything except the acceptance of its real function, the same one that you apply your own life: food. Is this shocking? That the breast can be used for something other than win? Should we be indignant that the plunging neckline is more acceptable socially than the human baby who feeds and incognito built in his mother?
need only remember Janet's breast during the Superbowl 2004 to realize the irony: the whole of America, the very one who wants the world's biggest consumer of pornography hard , indignant that we could have seen for less than two seconds in a pop star. Frankly hypocritical.
And we just play offended the Puritans in stores? Come on!
You know what I'm tired, when we talk about breastfeeding? This is the impression of widespread misconception. To those who do not know, here:
Breastfeeding her child in public ...
♥ Do not mean to walk topless in a store
♥ Do not mean leaving her in her bra without regard to those who might be offended
♥ Do not mean to intend to cause these gentlemen, and let alone these ladies
♥ Do not mean to try to draw attention to itself by disrupting the passers
♥ Do not mean to take an ugly excuse to come out the repressed exhibitionistic self
♥ Do not mean to lose Merchant Sales
breastfeed her child in public ...
♥ Means to be attentive to the needs (sometimes unpredictable, should we apologize for it) a child
♥ Means to show a modicum of decency in nursing discreetly, often so quietly that no one will realize
♥ Means judge that we live in a society open enough to accept the fact that breastfeeding is not a shame or a sacrilege or a reasonable accommodation
♥ Means that the mother-child bond is not only possible but encouraged in our society
♥ Means nursing infants should not be discriminated against the child bottle fed
♥ Means that life goes on and no reason is valid for all the fuss of a baby which we guess lingual activity
♥ Feel free to complete

Beyond my weary of hearing about breastfeeding (if-if I, who breastfeeding my daughter for over 2 years who refuses to be deprived of "his" in and loved, before she had very little "Milky truce" for 16 years), what moves me and I am deeply proud since this last saga is the ability to mobilize women, mothers, grandmothers and even some fathers to raise awareness not only to a certain tolerance towards breastfeeding but also a natural and symbolic home for all that it represents collectively.
Social media have the fabulous ability to mobilize thousands of people in just hours. With such social pressure, a dealer who refuses to adjust is really convinced of the merits of his prudishness or rigid and bad faith.
class I would be happy that the matter once and for all, but what would you like to erosion on the rock is repetition which finally act on the recalcitrant attitudes ...
